Pedestrians passing along Nairobi’s Uhuru Park on Monday evening, June 27, 2016, were shocked to see a woman burning a baby.
They alerted police who further found out that the nine-month-old baby boy was dead. The woman was arrested and held in police custody, according to The Star.

Police believe the infant was killed elsewhere, and the woman was trying to conceal the murder by burning the body to ashes.
Officers said they had launched investigations into the incident.
The woman will be arraigned in court after investigations are concluded.
